Erste Schritte in der GWD
Gründungswerkstatt - First Steps
Creating your first project
Before you start planning your start-up idea, you must create a project. You can create this under the heading “Projects” and get started straight away.
When you create your project, you are automatically assigned an expert who is available to answer your questions at any time. The expert is assigned on the basis of the postal code and industry. If no expert is available in your region, you can still use the full functionality of the GWD, with the exception of expert support. If you have any questions regarding your business idea, please contact your regional IHK.
Step 2: Working in the project
The best way to start your new project is to create a “Business Model Canvas”. This will give you a good overview of your proposition and help you prepare your business plan. Now draw up the “business plan” and “financial plan”. For this you can involve your founding team, such as external consultants, lawyers, your bank or accountant. In the “Documents” section you can collect additional information, such as sources, market reports, statistics, studies, etc. You can forward your project to your team and to external parties via the “Project areas” section. You will receive active help and information at every step.
Step 3: Managing team members
In the “Team” section you can invite additional founders to your project.
Step 4: Assign permissions to your project
After you have invited founders to your project, you can define their permissions. You can assign each team member specific read/write permissions to the individual contents in your project. You also have the option to remove founders from your project or change their permissions at any time.
Be aware: Team members initially have no permissions after their accounts have been created. Please assign the appropriate permissions to your team members so that you can work together with your team on your business idea.
The same applies to the expert. In order to work with your expert, you need to give him the appropriate permissions so he can see your content. If there are no experts in your region, you can ignore this point. Please contact your regional chamber of commerce and industry, which will be happy to help you with any questions you may have.
Step 5: Your personal expert
In the Gründungswerkstatt Deutschland you receive personal support in the planning and implementation of your company start-up—neutral, confidential, and free of charge. A personal expert from your region is at your disposal for any questions you may have concerning your start-up. You can find your expert on the overview of your project. You can ask your expert questions in the “Messages” section.
